We all have hectic and busy lives, and we don't always have the energy to clean up properly.
This self-cleaning, ride-on and cordless vacuum cleaner is a real asset to compensate for this lack of time and energy. It's not perfect, but it has enough assets to become an essential ally in cleaning.
It is pleasant to handle and the self-support is a real plus: you immediately feel that it will be practical on a daily basis. Its clean water tank is a bit small, but it is perfect for a room of about 30 m². Since it uses little water, the floor dries out very quickly, while leaving a pleasant feeling of cleanliness.
In terms of effectiveness, it really surprised me: I didn't think my floor was so dirty before using it! It performs particularly well on smooth floors such as smooth tiles and parquet, on which I expected good performance, but it also creates a surprise on my old textured tiles. The self-cleaning system is very appreciable: its brush cleans itself, thus avoiding the need to handle dirt.
Some comments point out that it only has one brush, but for me, that's absolutely not a problem. It is cleaned every time it is used thanks to the self-cleaning system, which is very effective, and therefore stays clean. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this brush.
The vacuum cleaner also has audible warnings, but only in English, which may be surprising at first. Fortunately, we quickly spot what they correspond to.
We have three types of floors at home: old, textured tiles, with hollows and bumps, a bit rustic and difficult to clean, modern and smooth tiles in the bathroom, which are easy to wash, and oiled parquet flooring, which is more delicate to maintain.
On these three surfaces, with different needs and textures, the Vileda vacuum cleaner and mop is very efficient. I especially appreciate that it leaves the floor well washed, but also well wiped, which is ideal for wood, which is not soggy but perfectly cleaned.
It doesn't tolerate foaming or greasy products, which prevented me from using black soap. I got around this with a small dose of bleach, which works well, although it's not ideal for the smell. The battery drains relatively quickly, but it allows you to do all the floors in the house on a full charge.
Our main challenge in terms of cleaning is the presence of several animals that are losing their hair. Many vacuum cleaners struggle to handle this, but this one does very well and does a great job, even when the floors are particularly dirty from dogs.
I particularly like its efficiency and speed, almost no effort, great efficiency on the ground, versatility on surfaces and a very practical nomadic side.
A practical, efficient and well-designed device, ideal for regular maintenance without effort.
