Our opinion: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing sorting and puzzling mat
I had the opportunity to test this rigid puzzle mat after using roll-up mats for quite a while. And frankly, what a pleasant surprise!
It's really perfect for puzzles up to 1000 pieces, which is exactly what I was looking for. Bigger, it would have been a bit complicated to store, but here, it's just the right size. It's very loose but not too much either, it's rather practical to wedge.
The material is great: the pieces stay in place without sticking, making it a breeze to move them around or prepare the puzzle to frame it when finished.
I also love the protective plastic with its velcro, super practical to keep dust away and avoid losing parts when I store it.
It is also very useful when you have ... a cat! It's thick and solid, and what's more, I can even slide the puzzle in progress under a piece of furniture to put it aside!
A nice little detail: there are six felt boxes to sort the pieces by color or shape, which makes assembly so much easier. And when it comes time to frame it, it's really simple: just flip the puzzle over to glue it or put it directly in a frame.
In the end, I'm super happy with this mat and I couldn't resist trying it right away! I therefore recommend it without hesitation if you are a puzzle enthusiast or if you have a gift to give to a puzzle fan.
